In the last few hours the entire country has been put on a red weather warning alert. Unfortunately, we are unable to determine if our employers intend to shut until the hurricane passes. Therefore, members need to make their own determination as to whether to attend for work or not. We will represent any member who encounters difficulty due to a decision not to attend. The weather warning suggests to us that only essential workers should risk travelling. CPSU HQ will be closed in the interests of the safety of our staff. We urge all members to proceed safely.
